Kaliasa Museum

To save Archaeological findings and historical objects, and to recall the wealth of local culture (Everyday, livelihoods, beliefs, arts, traditions) has been built is also a museum that was named Kailasa Museum Dieng. In addition, the museum also contains artifacts and information panels about the nature (geology, flora and fauna). Up to now, 22 ancient Javanese script tells the story of Dieng as a center of religious activity.
In Kailasa Museum you can trace the ancient Javanese Hindu civilization in the 7th century and 8th century AD. Kailasa name taken from the name of one mountain, home to Lord Shiva. The name is taken because of archeological Dieng in paint by the worship of Lord Shiva, which can be in the know of the enshrinement and inscriptions. The museum is at inaugurated by Tourism Minister, Jero Wacik, on July 28, 2008, as a portrait of the Dieng past.
