The tourism sector is highly profitable should be administered with a maximum so that later results obtained can be used for the welfare of the people. To maximize the tourism sector itself, it is time society and government together to plan and implement specific programs in order to succeed the tourism sector of the Dieng Plateau.

In line with this, the society which in this case spearheaded by D-TOURISM (Tourism Portal), launched a program or a master named “Lighthouse Project”, where the lighthouse project itself is a project undertaken with the purpose of transmitting or disseminating the potential of the town of Wonosobo to throughout the wider community of tourists and investors, both locally and internationally to come or invest in the Dieng Plateau.

Through this project expected potential contained in the Dieng plateau can be known by the general public.

Dietimologikan lighthouse as a tower that used to emit light signals at night, to assist navigation, is used as a code by the D-TOURISM in ensuring the success of community programs and government are expected to be used as:

1. Sources opening torch for communication between the three main stakeholders namely the public, governments and investors.
2. As a beacon to introduce tourism potential and emit Dieng plateau to the international world.
3. Alternative source of information for investors.
